Hi all, about a year ago, TCC asked the library (and other departments) to stop placing registration holds on overdue materials per the
<a href="https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=2513&Initiative=false&Year=2019" title="https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=2513&Initiative=false&Year=2019">
HB 2513</a> which passed into law. We complied, but now with a year under our belts, I'm not happy with the results! Two thirds of our total number of laptops have not been returned, even with a signed agreement by the student and extensive outreach and follow
up by our staff. I know from our previous conversations in LLC about this that other colleges have interpreted the law differently and are still placing holds on registration for overdue equipment (like laptops).</div>
