<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:105%">The Washington State Library and OCLC are pleased to announce that the Washington OCLC Group Services contract has just been extended for a full five years, with a maximum annual increase of
3.75% locked in. Previous multi-year extensions generally capped increases at 5% per year. The contract also includes a provision that Group members will not be charged a higher rate than that which is imposed on the OCLC membership at large in any given year.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:105%">OCLC did not raise prices for the current renewal year (July 2020 through June 2021) but kept costs flat.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:105%"><a href="https://sos.wa.gov/q/waywho">Many Washington libraries</a> purchase three basic OCLC services through Washington Group Services: unlimited cataloging, Interlibrary Loan, and WorldCat
