Hello: My campus ITC representative told me about this new WA state law that just became effective last week. They talked about it at a recent meeting.

<div>Has anyone else heard about it? We definitely put SMS holds on students for library fines. It sounds like we cannot anymore. Should we all ask our legal counsel?</div>

<div>Are we supposed to just flag them in Alma or absorb the loss(es)? Should we have fines at all? The blocks were the main reason students paid the fines. </div>
