<p class="x_MsoNormal">After participating in the protest today, I am wondering how each of you are feeling about your library and your school and their commitment to anti-blackness and anti-racist practices.</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">I am also wondering if there is anything the Library Leadership Council would be interested in doing in solidarity—issuing a statement, thinking about practices, engaging in conversations with staff, or something else entirely.</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">I write this pretty late on a Saturday, I realize, and am not expecting any immediate responses—but I am “fired up” (as they say) and would love to work with others who are as well.</p>
