<p class="MsoNormal">I loved seeing Faculty Select in action during the EBSCO day in Olympia last week. I’m sharing it with Sue and we might consider it. That it has the ability to include OER from a variety of sources, eBooks you have access to through EBSCO,
eBooks you don’t have access to through EBSCO, and other eBooks from other vendors that provide MARC, is great.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The best part of this product, in my opinion as a librarian, is that any faculty who select their book(s) in Faculty Select have to fill out a brief form, which notifies the library of their use—this could potentially prevent some of the

<p class="MsoNormal">I am sure that George Dragich (EBSCO) has been visiting everyone to talk about the
<b>new OER tool from EBSCO called Faculty Select</b>. I was pleased to see how simple it is to use. It seems to me that it is a good starter for faculty new to OER and needing a way to find OER textbooks that are easy to add links into Canvas. I like that
we can import other resources found or owned by the library. Since this platform is compatible with Canvas and helps lower or eliminate costs for students, I think it might be of interest to eLearning as well. Here is a link to more information:<o:p></o:p></p>
