<p class="MsoNormal">I had a friend who retired and went to work for Sylvan Learning as a manager of one of their “stores”.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">And lots of folks with computer skills have gone to work for book and tech vendors, like Endeavor or Ebsco.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">If I had to recommend any new training, I would suggest certified project manager training which is universally valued and can be done on a consulting basis.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">What other professional work opportunities/occupations exist out there for library directors? I had an old co-worker ask and I really didn’t know what to say other than research in the private or non-profit sector. I think she was looking
