<p class="MsoNormal">2014/15 Highline College Library received $30,000 ongoing additional funding for materials to support four new B.A.S. programs (and now a fifth one just added this year).

In the first year, about 40% of the funding went to building core print collections with the remainder to acquiring databases. In subsequent years, spending for print materials has been significantly reduced in favor of acquiring more specialized periodical
databases relevant to the B.A.S. programs. <o:p></o:p></p>
