<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Calibri",sans-serif,serif,"EmojiFont"; color: rgb(31, 73, 125);">Yes, we still use Dewey Easy. It’s a pretty decent program and is nice because it includes both LC and Dewey, so depending on
what your library uses you can customize it to train the students on one classification system or the other.</span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Calibri",sans-serif,serif,"EmojiFont"; color: rgb(31, 73, 125);">It’s also a nice overview for people who haven’t had any library experience or training in Dewey easy because it walks you through
a basic explanation of what it is, how it’s used, etc. And then it has 2 drills/exercises to go through after the explanation so you can use the knowledge you gained right in the program.</span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Calibri",sans-serif,serif,"EmojiFont"; color: rgb(31, 73, 125);">I like it and will continue to use it as long as it’s available. There are some other ones online that are free, but those are
more geared for Elementary students. Dewey Easy isn’t quite so simplistic.</span></p>

Do any of you, or your staff that is in charge of hiring/training work study students, use the training program called Dewey Easy? It apparently helps test for understanding of filing, shelf reading and organizing of library resources.
