<p class="MsoNormal">We had an unfortunate last minute change to our librarian coverage. As a result, Skagit Valley College needs to hire a reference librarian to work most weekends Spring Quarter. The hours are Saturdays and Sundays, 1 to 5 p.m. (4 hours
each day). The librarian will be supported by a student worker to cover the Circulation Desk. The librarian will be responsible for opening and closing the library and general operations.

<p class="MsoNormal">This position is a quarter-by-quarter adjunct faculty position. It is made possible through a grant from the Associated Students of Skagit Valley College. The funds do not extend to summer quarter. There is no guarantee that the funds
will be available next academic year. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Skagit Valley College pays adjunct faculty according to the faculty negotiated agreement. The pay is roughly $61.73 per hour for adjunct librarians.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We would like to find a person with prior community college experience. We hope the librarian is familiar with Gimlet, LibGuides, Ebsco/ProQuest, Primo, and possibly WordPress. We are located in the beautiful Skagit Valley. Keep in mind
that the month of April is tulip season and traffic can be challenging on the weekends. We can provide alternate routes to help.<o:p></o:p></p>
