If the duties outlined in the library specs aren’t in alignment with the duties currently performed you could look to the IT technician or specialist classifications to see if these are a better fit. We did this several years ago with a previous LAP 2 technician position that was responsible for serials and electronic resource management (which also included management of our digital archives).
