an averaged estimate thereof. We also used to provide an estimated average of cost per new acquisition, but the Business Office now makes its own calculation directly from our materials expenditures.

year of publication (pulled from the MARC record) for each category of item (monographs, DVDs, etc.). Then we assign a value based on the average acquisition cost for that category during that year, and multiply by the number withdrawn.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
