In previous communication I’ve urged you to be prepared for the public to come into you library to learn more about the Academy. I believe there will be a ripple effect from the two media events that will be felt statewide. Libraries should be ready to demonstrate the IT Academy, offer Digital Literacy or E-Learning, or at the very least talk with people about how the local library will participate in the Academy.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>BUT, we know that not everyone will be ready to go. So, I am seeking libraries willing to put their names forward as EARLY ADOPTERS. Early adopters will be ready to demonstrate how the IT Academy works and give guidance on the courseware options with in Digital Literacy and Microsoft E-Learning.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>An early adopter can be any library. We are hoping for a good geographical spread around the state. We realize your staff might not feel quite ready to roll out the Academy.
