<p>I am the Library Director and my direct supervisor is the VP of Instruction.</p>
<p>The person in my position formerly was a dean, and was a faculty member before serving as dean.</p>

<p>I believe the decision to make my position a "directorship" rather than a "deanship," when they hired me a year and a half ago, was budgetary.
</p>
<p>I continue to advocate for having my position be returned to its former status.</p>
