Discover the transformative power of Pressbooks as a platform for sharing student authored content as Sue shares about a cross-discipline collaboration at Lake Washington Institute of Technology that combines “Stories from Our Lives” written by English language learners and interpretive illustrations drawn by art students. Sue will also share about the emerging regional group that has grown out this work - Washington Open Publishing Project Collective, other student publications from across the college, and strategies for engaging your colleagues in student publishing projects. Don't miss this opportunity to explore the power of student authorship and the profound impact of making space for student voice in your course.
