[LIBRARYDIR] WACTCLC Executive Committee Call for Nominations

The WACTCLC Executive Committee is pleased to announce the opening of this year's election process.

Because elections were not held last year, there are four positions open: Chair, Vice-chair/Chair-elect, Secretary, and Member-at-Large, more details on each position are available in the Nomination Form.

Nominees do not have to be library directors, but any staff nominated should be cleared by their library leadership to act as a designated alternate for the purpose of Executive Committee meetings.

You may nominate others or self-nominate (volunteer) using the Nomination Form<https://bigbend.libwizard.com/id/4ce5dbcd9cc740478fdb923aa7c55167>. The Nomination Committee will review submissions and present the slate to LLC. The slate will also be available on the WACTCLC website prior to voting deadline.

Official members (those who will vote in this election) are defined in the WACTCLC Bylaws<https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByZduCgrfxQ4Z2ZWZWU4aTcyZkk/view?usp=sharing&resourcekey=0-ZHuPevcbuKO9EewSRyueaQ> as "the library administrator from each member library, or an assigned alternate as designated by the library administrator"

Timeline
Nomination deadline: Friday, May 5
Slate presented at LLC: Friday, May 12
Official ballot distribution: Thursday, June 15
Voting deadline: Friday, June 23
Notification and announcement of Exec Comm 2023-2024: June 24-30
New term starts: July 1
