<p class="MsoNormal">Here’s something that you might want to share with your colleagues? It’s a chance for 2-year and 4-year institutions to get funding and support to focus on ways to facilitate the transfer experience for low-income STEM students. There’s
a particular focus on supporting rural students, so if you’re at a rural-serving institution, be sure to take a look. This might not be exactly in your own wheelhouse, but if you know of any faculty or staff who might be interested, consider passing this along?

<p style="margin:0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Community College Research Initiatives (CCRI) at the University of Washington is currently recruiting programs from two- and four-year institutions across WA state to apply to be
a part of a transfer partnership community of practice. This project is funded by a $1.2M grant from Ascendium Education Group.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The goal is to find 10 pairs of institutions (partnerships) to share data, remove barriers, create solutions to increase bachelor’s degree completion of their low-income STEM transfer students, and create sustainable
