this important work and several short-term and/or part-time “patches” that we’ve employed over the years (thank you Cheryl Myers!), the 2019 Legislature finally made funding this leadership position a priority. The HECC’s DEI Director will help advance equity
within Oregon postsecondary education as a liaison to institutions, community organizations, and policymakers. And the HECC’s DEI Director will help advance equity within the HECC agency as we continue our efforts to make our workplace more inclusive.
