Hello Guided Pathways Listserv! I’m sharing a fantastic learning opportunity that starts next week. Please contact Dawn Draus for more information.

Do you teach content related to social inequality or systemic injustice in a Math in Society class, or would you like to? Join the Social Justice Themed MATH& 107 Faculty Learning Community as we explore possibilities for addressing social justice issues while meeting the common course outcomes for MATH& 107.

The goals for this year long learning community are:

  * Review current list of common outcomes for MATH& 107.
  * Collaboratively develop a common set of course outcomes for a social justice themed MATH& 107.
  * Provide curriculum development resources to be shared with WA CTC math faculty.

Our first zoom meeting is Friday, October 6, 10:00 - 11:30.
