This message is from Amunoo Tembo and Guava Jordan in the SBCTC Student Success Center. We are excited to share that, in response to interest we've heard across the system, we are embarking on a project focused on college success and first-year experience
courses! This initiative recognizes the critical role that college success and first year experience courses can play in shaping a student's academic and career pathway, and we want to support our CTC system with this high impact practice. We'll be tackling
it head-on by:<br>

Building a Robust Professional Network: This network will offer opportunities to give input, share resources, and potentially collaborate on curriculum.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Enhancing First-Year Experience Courses: We'll survey the existing curriculum, look for ways to incorporate promising practices and innovative approaches to academic readiness, study skills, time management, career development and connections,
employment market insights, advocacy and overall well-being.<o:p></o:p></p>
