Washington community and technical colleges enrolled 123,012 full-time equivalent students (FTES) in fall quarter 2021, a decrease of 8 percent (-10,748 FTES) compared with fall 2020. Colleges enrolled 89,077 state-funded FTES (down 5 percent, or -4,936 FTES),
32,546 contract-funded FTES (down 12 percent, or -4,242 FTES), and 1,389 student-funded FTES (down 53 percent, or -1,570 FTES).
