Greetings Colleagues,

Attached is the 2017 End of Session Report outlining our activity during the past legislative sessions.  A link on our Legislative Outreach page has also been posted: https://www.sbctc.edu/colleges-staff/programs-services/legislative-outreach/default.aspx
The tardiness of this report, compared to years past, is due to three special legislative sessions and continuing negotiations around the capital budget.  As we know, there is still no capital budget.

You will note that the format has changed to provide more extensive detail about legislation that passed and how it impacts our office and colleges.
