<p class="MsoNormal">I think that is correct that the committee is run by Ivan. They asked me to be a rep that is providing expertise in DEI, it wasn’t a specific ask for DEOC but I feel like when we are doing SBCTC, any of us asked are also repping our work,
not just our schools. So I just wanted to stay true to what we wanted as a group, and for us all to be able to track the work those of us on the DEOC are doing for the SBCTC system.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">My president at BTC is on the Allocation Model Review Committee, and then asked me to serve on the of Sub Committee of Weighted Enrollment. I know at the retreat we suggested that all asks need to come in some way to the larger DEOC for
State board committee representation. I am happy to serve on this if that is helpful or to let someone else serve on this committee. I don’t know a lot about how often they are meeting but the next meeting is May 13<sup>th</sup>.
