<p class="MsoNormal">There is a request for DEO Representation on the Data Governance Committee (DGC) and Chair the Demographic Subcommittee (DemoCom). The short descriptor of these roles is DemoCom does the work and DGC facilitates a system review and approval.<u></u><u></u></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Examples of this work are: expanding the options available under gender identity and sexual orientation for students and employees in ctcLink, expanding race options in ctcLink, and improving security roles for who can access DSS related
 information in ctcLink.<u></u><u></u></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We’ve struggled with consistent DEOC representation on both of these groups. DemoCom is often made up of more “middle management” folks with just a few commission reps like me. The ask is would one of you be interested in serving at the
 DemoCom group as your designee from DEOC. <u></u><u></u></p>
