My team has been grappling with more clarity around how much we pay facilitators and speakers. Generally, we try to meet folks where they are and pay their asking rates when we can. Some we find to be too low and out of alignment with what is equitable and
we offer more than their asking. Others we feel are unjustifiably high and we ask them to get closer to what we can budget for the event. </div>
