<p class="MsoNormal">As we bring 2022 to a close I want to thank each of you for your hard work and dedication to promoting and driving DEI/EDI centered practices and initiatives at your respective institutions and in shared spaces with other State Agencies.
I cannot overstate the importance of your roles in our SBCTC system and the tremendous impact you/we are having. Your leadership in invaluable and we cannot under any circumstance let up or fall back into old behavioral practices that limit access to opportunity
or advancement for students, staff and faculty from Historically Underrepresented and Systemically Non-Dominant (Dr. Debi Jenkins) Communities.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I thank you for a great year of sacrifice and service to our community. We are a resource for each other in this work and I’m honored to learn and grow in my leadership with you all. We have a very challenging year ahead of us and some
