<p class="MsoNormal">I am sending warm greetings to you as the director of equity, diversity, and inclusion with the WA State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. I am 1.5 generation Filipina American, mom of a toddler, and reside in the east side of
Tacoma. I began this role on November 1, building on the foundation that Ha Nguyen set, and that Melissa Williams continued as interim. I got my start in higher ed at South Seattle (then SSCC) and have since held equity-centered roles in K-12, higher ed, non-profits,
and governmental organizations.<o:p></o:p></p>
