<p class="xmsonormal">Following a deliberate and open search process, Mr. D’Andre Fisher has been named Seattle Colleges’ first-ever Associate Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Mr. Fisher will assume the new role on May 9. As the district’s
Chief Diversity Officer, Mr. Fisher will be responsible for providing leadership and implementing strategies for achieving our shared vision of building a racially-equitable, socially-just, anti-racist institution in which all students, faculty, and staff
are empowered to participate, benefit, and reach their full potential. Thank you to the search committee and everyone who participated in forums and provided feedback on the candidates.
