I'm guessing Margarita is referring to the $70,000 allocation in 5194 that earmarked for "Culturally Appropriate Student Outreach Program". The little information I had on it is located in the attachment that starts with E2SSB... I do have control over this
budget for my institution, but I have partnered with Student Affairs. We have a team that has come together and launching a 2-day outreach summit geared towards incoming first-year students of color and the other backgrounds indicated in the bill. We are also
considering utilizing an outside vendor for a mentorship matching program. That likely won't materialize until next year given bandwidth and capacity constraints. </div>
