If I may underscore the invitation to provide anonymous feedback, I do hope you'll consider, especially as we have experienced and observed the ways that decision-making, agency, and access to power are being stripped even in our own CTC system.

I know James and others have been hard at work in trying to make the case for this role to remain a VP role with the power, decision-making authority, and positionality that this body of work necessitates to make system change.

After the departure of Olympic College's former Vice President of DEI, President Marty Cavalluzzi shared that he will be reevaluating the position's job description (see attachment for optional reference). He invited OC's Diversity Advisory Council (DAC) to make recommendations for the new job description. In turn, DAC created a subcommittee to gather input from internal stakeholders, district community stakeholders, and subject matter experts like yourselves. The DAC subcommittee also worked with SBCTC DEI Director Sophia Agtarap for her insights.



That said, DAC of Olympic College is reaching out to ask for about 20 minutes of your time to complete the anonymous form below to document input from subject matter experts. The recommendations that DAC makes to President Cavalluzzi and the VP of Human Resources will be based on the feedback gathered from the aforementioned stakeholders and communities.
