[DEOC] Seeking Research Participants - Feel free to share.

Hello DEO family,

After meeting Esteban today, I ended up volunteering to participate in his research study. If any of you are interested or know someone who might be, feel free to contact him or pass this information along. The participant can be anyone who is or is not aspiring to a community college presidential position. He needs 2-3 more volunteers.

My name is Esteban Maldonado and I am a doctoral student in the University of Washington’s College of Education.  I am conducting a research study designed to examine community college presidential pathways among Latina/o/x higher education professionals in Washington state.  You may possibly meet the criteria of subjects that this research study intends to learn from.  The selection criteria consists of the following:

·      Identify as Latina/o/x,

·      Identify as female/male/non-binary, and

·      Currently work or in the past worked at an affiliate SBCTC institution(s).

This study should take approximately 50-70-minutes depending on the pace of the interview.  A potential risk of participating in the study may include discomfort of re-living a painful experience, such as recalling negative pressure from a supervisor or getting released from a position.  Those who fully complete the study will receive a $25.00 Amazon gift card.
