Dear DEOC--

I am sending you three separate invitations to attend an info session with Heather Gingerich, College Spark Washington's Director of Initiative Partnerships. Please accept or decline based on your availability.

As you read from the invitation Monica Wilson sent on January 9 to attend a pre-Guided Pathways/joint commission retreat gathering, College Spark Washington has invited SBCTCs partnership in developing an initiative focused on supporting and sustaining leaders of color in the CTC system. As equity leaders in the system, I wanted to provide an opportunity for you, the DEOC, to ask questions about the initiative and offer wonderings and feedback you might have in advance of the gathering at Semiahmoo. We are seeking input from both DEOC and WACTC before a systemwide communication about the initiative goes out.

I've attached a one-pager draft of the initiative as a primer.
