Here is the initial response from DES on the training. I’ve sent a follow-up response and am awaiting an answer to my request. I will keep you all posted as I continue to push.

"A Path Toward Equity: Disrupting Structural Racism through Awareness and Belonging" foundational training was designed with the goal of fostering inclusive and respectful work environments within the Washington State Government and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) competence among the state workforces.

This training aligns with the State HR Directive 23-01<https://ofm.wa.gov/state-human-resources/hr-directives> that requires all employees of executive branch agencies to complete the foundational diversity, equity, and inclusion training.

Currently the instructor-led training modules located on the DES.WA.Gov<https://des.wa.gov/services/training/diversity-equity-and-inclusion-training> website are only available to Washington State executive branch agency employees. Additional information can be found at OFM.WA.GOV<http://ofm.wa.gov/>

Hi!

This is the training that I have been trying to get us registered for that I've been working with DES to access for the last three months. When I found out it was rolled out, I contacted them and connected them with our Learning manager, only to find out that it was only being launched out to "executive branch agencies."

I have spoken with their Director for EDI at DES, Adrian Thompson and explained to him what our system looks like and he was excited about partnering.

Have been waiting on a response about access. Happy to share the overview slides.
