[DEOC] Question about leave carry over

There are policies about this and if I'm not mistaken any sick leave they had will still transfer with them unless they were cashed out. The other option is to apply that leave towards retirement upon separation and in that case they may have to start over. I'll check with our HR to get more details.

Hi DEOC--

Do your institutions have policies about sick leave transfer? I know some state agencies have policies about being able to carry over sick leave after separation from the college/state.

Are you aware of any? In particular, an employee joining the CTC system after having been gone a year or less.
