I personally don’t appreciate fragrance free policies as they become punitive to black and brown folx (i.e. our fragrant hair products). I think most folx on our campus who need a fragrance free environment, go through an accommodation process that may come with signage around their work area stating that it’s a fragrance free area…

Does your institution by chance have a fragrance free policy? I am inquiring as some individuals on campus are advocating for one due to scent sensitivity, allergies, etc. I would greatly appreciate your insight.
