<p class="MsoNormal">This is a service announcement regarding course/class fees in ctcLink.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">If there is a need to change course and/or class fees for a term after enrollment has begun, a new class section will need to be created and the students will need to be moved to that new section. Unfortunately, if there is a change to
fees after enrollment has started, we are seeing it create multiple lines on student accounts. The system has a hard time distinguishing some of the changes and causes tuition calculation to fail, sometimes for your institution and sometimes for all institutions.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Of course, there are some exceptions to this rule. If there is a missing field within the course/class fee set up page like adjustment calendar or waiver group, you should be able to update the missing field without the need to create a
new section. Or, if it is just a change in the dollar amount associated with the fee, that is ok as well. Tuition calculation can handle those types of adjustments.<o:p></o:p></p>
