bill authorizes the Bridge Course as an alternative graduation requirement while phasing out the use of Collection of Evidence for this purpose. The bill also shifts the high school SBA test from 11th grade to 10th grade. Because the current Placement Agreement
was based on an 11th grade assessment instead of a 10th grade assessment, the Agreement will need to be renegotiated during the coming year rather than waiting until 2020, the year that partners to the Agreement had planned to revisit and potentially revise
