<p class="x_MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; line-height: 105%;">The Assistive Technology and Alternative Format Coordinator position serves as the primary accessibility technology expert for the campus with responsibility for promoting technology solutions
based on principles of universal design for instruction that support equal opportunities to learn. The position provides instruction technical assistance, training, and resource materials to students registered with the Access Services department as well as
faculty and staff of the institution within the areas of assistive and instructional computer technologies. The position will have an emphasis on assistive technologies for students with learning disabilities, visual disabilities, physical disabilities, or
those who are deaf or hard of hearing. The position is responsible for the support, technical direction, assessment, and implementation of new and existing technologies.</p>
