Good morning, everyone,
Everyone should have received their laptops and docking stations by now. I wanted to check in with everyone and make sure that you have received everything. Additionally, as I'll be monitoring the inventory system as we get everything into place, it would be helpful to know the correct numbers for each of the sites. So, when you have a chance, I'll need to know the following information for each site that you support.

  * Number of GEN 3 laptops and who owns them.
     *   Example: 100 SBCTC, 230 TCC, 330 Total
     * This should be per site, so if you support two sites I would like, if possible, something like.
        *   WCCW 100 SBCTC, 230 TCC, 330 Total
        *   MCCCW 0 SBCTC, 20 TCC, 20 Total
  * Number of docking stations and who owns them.
     *   Example: 6 SBCTC, 4 TCC, 10 Total
     * If you want to further break it down by Admin (White)\Student Facing (Orange) I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll be following up with you to make sure the SBCTC shipment was correct.
        *   Example: 1 Admin + 5 Student SBCTC, 4 Student TCC, 10 Total
Once I get this information, I'm going to start comparing the numbers with the online inventory system that we setup for DOC. We need to make sure that we are getting all this information entered correctly, thank you so much to everyone who has been working hard on this and getting things entered.
As a reminder, all GEN 3 laptops and docking stations need to be entered into the inventory tracker. For equipment owned by the colleges, you will not be putting a SBCTC asset tag on it but should have a college asset tag. For SBCTC owned docking stations and laptops, they do need one of the SBCTC asset tags that I sent out. If you have any questions, please reach out to me.
When the laptops are assigned to students, don't forget to update both the laptop inventory tracker and OMNI so that we have it tracked in both areas.
Finally, we have a few things that we need to make sure have been confirmed on your end before laptops are sent out to students. If you have already completed these tasks for each of the laptops, let me know in the email with your numbers. Otherwise, let me know once you have finished. I'll be sending out weekly check-ins with everyone till we have everything completed.

  * Verified that the WiFi chip is disabled in the BIOs on all GEN 3 laptops.
  * Updated BIOs password to the site-specific password that was assigned on all GEN 3 laptops.
     * Let me know if you need the GEN 3 Washington Default BIOs password and your site specific password if needed.
  * Added all GEN 3 laptops and docks to inventory tracker.
  * Laptops assigned to students have been updated in the Tracker and added to OMNI.
Thanks again to everyone for working on this,
