[corrections_edu_faculty] Corrections Education Faculty Resource Sharing Space

Good Morning Everyone!

At the Washington CEA conference a request we heard from faculty is for SBCTC to create a space where you all can connect with each other and share resources. These resources may be teaching strategies that work well in the carceral setting or digital resources you have found that are integral to your curriculum. This space has now been created in the Corrections Education Canvas hosted by SBCTC. The space is called Faculty Resource Sharing<https://canvas.sbctc.correctionsed.com/courses/392419000000460>. I have enrolled everyone that attended the Washington CEA conference and the same credentials that were used to access the conference resources will let you access this space.

The Faculty Resource Sharing<https://canvas.sbctc.correctionsed.com/courses/392419000000460> space currently has some resources from SBCTC (OPE information, contact information and the WA course checklist from Alissa Sells), a couple of discussion boards where faculty can share strategies and resources and accessibility resources. The information contained here is just a start as more will be added by you all and us at SBCTC.
