<p class="MsoListParagraph"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">Grants support state agencies' ability to incorporate greater energy efficiency and conservation measures into budgeted and approved capital projects. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">The program pays for the difference in cost for eligible agencies and state higher education institutions to add measures and/or improved mechanical systems
expected to reduce consumption and carbon emissions. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">This solicitation will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The proposed project must be considered to have a realistic scope, cost, and timeline, and
produce meaningful energy savings. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">Applicants with Tier 1 buildings - those over 50,000 sq. ft. and required to comply with the Clean Buildings Performance Standard - will be prioritized <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as long as funding remains. Applications for other buildings will also be accepted on a first-come, first-serve
basis and put on a waitlist. That second set of reviews will begin 4 weeks after the application period opens.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
