I suspect it will remain a mostly unfunded mandate. The legislature appropriate no funds to support this, so SBCTC will have to squeeze it out or their existing budget, as will the member colleges.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

undue burden</a> clause will apply to almost everything.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

“Why isn’t this policy supported with the necessary financial resources to make it work effectively?”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

WaTech Policy 188</a> on Accessible Technology. It might be a good idea for you all to review
<a href="https://ocio.wa.gov/policies/101-technology-policies-and-standards">WaTech's Policy 101</a> about the scope of WaTech's technology policies in order to clarify your institution's relationship to WaTech. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

in our agency to better define the implications of this policy on the institutions and how we can leverage SBCTC's (more explicit) relationship with WaTech to access resources and services that result from this policy. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
