I had the same thought as others, to create an upper division certificate for each concentration. Policy 4.20.50.</div>

Also, I don't know if ctcLink can do this, but the second concentration could be a transcript note. Some universities do this for concentrations, tracks, and minors. I assume you have 3 plan codes for each version of the degree so the award title will show
at least one concentration.</div>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">A question has come up on our campus and I’m curious if/how other schools have handled this situation. We offer a BAS in Business Management. Under that degree, students can choose:</p>

<li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in">BAS in Business Management</li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in">BAS in Business Management – Entrepreneurship Concentration</li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in">BAS in Business Management – Marketing Concentration</li></ul>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">I have several students that want to do both concentrations, but because they are under the same degree our Admissions Office is trying to determine if it’s possible to award both. I had one student complete and apply for her degree.
Then come back for the Marketing Concentration, but we were not able to award it to her because the main degree is the same and she can’t earn two BAS in Business Management degrees from the same institution.</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">Then the next student decided <u>not</u> to apply for her degree until both concentrations were complete to get around that rule. However, it appears that the same issue is coming up. I envisioned her transcripts and diploma would say
“BAS in Business Management with Concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Marketing”. Thoughts/advice?</p>
