<p class="MsoNormal">Boy this hits hard. As everyone has said Char was instrumental in the development of the BLC. She really did hold us all to a higher standard and asked the hard questions, always with a student success lens. I will miss her and I hope
that we can do something to honor her and all the hard work she put in to our community college system.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It is with deep sadness that I share that Char Gore, TCC’s Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives passed away this weekend after a 3-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

<p class="xmsonormal">Char served on the BLC executive for several years and was instrumental in the recent changes to the General Education requirements for BAS degrees.

<p class="xmsonormal">She was a strong advocate for students and worked tirelessly to make BAS degrees more accessible.
