<p class="MsoNormal">I am excited to share with you two funding opportunities to continue the work around the Development of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science programs<i> and</i> SBCTC’s new Climate Solutions Program. Both funding opportunities are designed
to create opportunities for your faculty to engage at a system level to leverage their combined expertise and experience and to fund work at a local college level. The funding requests are also designed to be streamlined and easy – you simply need to complete
a survey for each.<o:p></o:p></p>

science, align with existing and emerging local workforce needs, and center equity as a core program component to increase access for students historically underrepresented in the computer science industry.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

</span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Franklin Gothic Book",sans-serif">A minimum of $20,000 is available to each college to support program development or expansion. Submitted budgets should have specific anticipated expenses and activities that
may include faculty stipends for program or curriculum development, funding for convening local employers and industry professionals in support of program development, equipment and supplies, or other activities in support of local program development.
