degree. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Franklin Gothic Book",sans-serif;color:#002060"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Franklin Gothic Book",sans-serif;color:#002060">Per the legislation, our colleges are allowed to begin the development process for implementing this degree after December 1, 2021. We have the ability
to do an independent application/degree offering and we have the ability to offer the degree through a consortia model.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Franklin Gothic Book",sans-serif;color:#002060"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Franklin Gothic Book",sans-serif;color:#002060">A work group was assembled last summer to work on mobilizing our colleges to offer this new degree. The work group has identified three pathways
colleges can participate in pursuing a BS in CS degree:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
