<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">A question to ask; is the student officially admitted to the BAS program or conditionally (provisionally) accepted. I assume that completion of the general education (associates degree) requirements as noted
in the question below is a condition of acceptance into your program. If so, then the following from the 2019-20 Federal Student Aid Handbook:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><i>Students admitted as conditional are regular students only if the school officially accepts them into the eligible degree or certificate program. The Department does not define official acceptance or admission. If the student is merely
allowed to take some courses before being officially admitted to the program, she is not considered a regular student and is not eligible for FSA funds until she is officially admitted.</i><i><span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
