<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">We are looking for the perfect professor to join our team and teach in our new Bachelor in Applied Management degree program at Tacoma Community College.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">In Fall 2019 Tacoma Community College will be launching a new Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Applied Management.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">This is the third bachelor’s degree for Tacoma Community College and the first Applied Management degree in Pierce County.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">We are excited to be offering this degree to our community. Graduates of traditionally non-transferable professional-technical degrees can now seamlessly
access bachelor level education at TCC. Additionally BAS degrees will help employers to promote their incumbent workforce.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The Applied Management BAS degree will enhance students’ technical skills by adding a business management component, making graduates more marketable
in their respective industry. The first cohort will specialize in Project Management, preparing students to earn an industry credential. Future curriculums will give students the opportunity to specialize in Human Resources or Entrepreneurial Leadership. </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;user-select: text;-webkit-user-drag: none;-webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;overflow-wrap: break-word">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt">Classes will be offered in the hybrid format (part in-class; part online) Tuesday and Thursday evenings and every other Saturday. All TCC BAS programs have small class sizes (less than 30) and are cohort-based, meaning students
stay together throughout the program. </span><o:p></o:p></p>
