[BFET] The Spring BFET Funding Survey is Here!

Good morning BFET Team,

Our Spring Funding Survey is here! Please submit your response by Thursday, March 14, 2019.

Please submit a response, even if you are not returning funds or requesting additional funds. We must receive a response from every college before we can process requests. Incomplete funding surveys will be returned for additional information and clarification. Please make sure you are filling out the survey completely.
NOTE for all funding surveys: We do our best to fulfill your requests (for additional funds or to return funds), but there will be times when this is not possible. Our funding and redistribution decisions are bound by system-wide need and availability of funds. Please let us know your funding needs through these quarterly surveys, but keep in mind there is no guarantee we will be able to award additional funds or accept the return of funds.
Tips for filling out the survey

*         Please read the directions throughout the survey for clarification and examples.

*         Your answers should be specific and thorough-we will use this information to redistribute system funds based on need. The more information we have, the faster we can process requests.

*         We will also take into consideration your current billing status, your remaining balance of BFET funds, and your immediate need for your requests.

Staffing

If you will be out of the office for a significant portion of this survey, please make sure to have a back-up staff person who can fill out the survey on your behalf and answer questions in case we need clarification. Waiting on a response from one college/CBO can hold up the whole process, so please make sure your staff are available.

FFY19 Funding Surveys

There will be one more funding survey for FFY19 in summer, which will allow you another opportunity to request additional funds or request to return unneeded funds. Please do not wait to return unneeded funds until last minute. It is very important that you return unneeded funds to the system as soon as possible in the fiscal year to ensure that: (1) we do not leave large amounts of funds unspent at the end of the federal fiscal year; and (2) colleges that need additional funds can receive them as soon as possible to serve students.
