[BFET] Jan Strand's Retirement -- Edmonds Community College

Hello Jennifer and Linh:

I would like to let you know that my last day with Edmonds Community
College will be this Thursday, January 31st.  I will be joining my husband
in retirement and moving on with our next big adventure.  I have had the
priviledge of working with and serving our income-eligible student
populations for 20 years through our WorkFirst, BFET and Opportunity Grants
at EdCC. I have also worked with many of you state-wide on behalf of
projects aimed at providing better service and smoothing out processes for
those we serve.  I could not be  more proud of being a part of the changes
that we have created together.

Edmonds has  hired a new Associate Dean to take over my job duties
beginning March 1st.  In the meantime, if you have any information  that
needs to be taken care of for WorkFirst, BFET or Opportunity Grant, please
contact Terry Cox, Vice President of WorkForce Development and Training.

I have no doubt that this hard work will continue, and I will look forward
to hearing about your wonderful achievements in the future.  Thank you for
all of your support!
