The Education Program Coordinator supports the colleges and State Board by providing technical support and training to colleges and assisting with compliance monitoring, budget and records management, and grant application processes for the Basic Food Employment and Training (BFET), WorkFirst and other workforce student support programs.

Headquartered in Olympia, Washington, the position requires the ability to understand complex policy issues specific to student support programs, research information, and trouble-shoot technical and programming issues. The position also requires the ability to support collaborative working relationships with colleges, community-based organizations, State Board staff and external partners. The position requires strong planning and communication skills, and the ability to provide effective training. The position requires in-state travel.

The annual salary for this position is $64,818.72.  Washington State has a generous benefit package including health, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, retirement, and two optional deferred compensation programs.
